Mary says "I have sent Nicholas Mosse pottery all over the world, let me tell you about it. It is made in an old converted flour mill on the River Nore in the County of Kilkenny, Ireland. Made using pure Irish earthenware the kilns are fired with water power drawn from the passing river.

The pottery is microwave and dishwasher proof each piece being created with enormous care. Every jug, mug, bowl or plate has been handmade, slipped, turned and hand decorated with cut sponges and brush.

Tiny pictures are painstakingly created by hand using brush, wax resist and sponge techniques. The decoration and designs reflect both traditional and classic pottery. Times change and taste evolves but Nicholas Mosse Pottery will always be appreciated and treasured..........a gift for life."
